The Wilmot Recreation Complex located right off the 7/8 highway at 1291 Nafziger Road, Baden Ontario. This place has something for everyone at any age! The large community centre hosts special events such as a wedding, lecture, or conference and invite up to 180 people! Twin NHL sized ice surfaces, home of the New Hamburg Firebirds, offer lots of ice time including roller skating and ball hockey in the summer on the one arena.
The new phase 2 addition was completed January this year and is an amazing facility including a state-of –the –art aquatic centre for swimming with an eight lane, 25 metre competitive training pool, a warm water leisure pool, a dry land training centre, a 3 lane indoor walking/running track, an active seniors centre, and a youth centre! I’m sure Michael Phelps would approve.
This is an awesome complex and has so much going on everyday of the week for every age.
